Black Pepper- a seed Small in size but Big benefits-A spice, a part of almost every kitchen, black pepper has a lot of medicine properties in addition to making the food very tasty. A study carried out in Taiwan revealed that black pepper is very useful to reduce body fat. Another study carried by a team of researchers at The Kings College, London found that an element piprine is found in black pepper which is very helpful to determine the color of human skin. Piprine is very useful in the treatment of vitiligo, a skin disease which creates white patches on human skin. Besides these big benefits, black pepper is used as home remedy in the following ailments –

Black Pepper for Cold and cough
Mix thin powder of 2-3 black pepper and 2 grains of turmeric powder in 1 tea spoon of honey and eat three times a day. It will give you relief from cold and cough.
Black Pepper for Digestive Disorders
Mix black pepper powder and black salt powder in equal volume in curd eat every morning. It will give you relief in digestive disorders
Black Pepper for Stomach Disease and Worms
To get rid of stomach diseases and stomach worms mix 1 tea spoon of black pepper powder with a glass of butter milk(Chhachh) and drink empty stomach in the morning.
Black Pepper for Gas Trouble
To get relief from gas trouble mix juice of half a lemon, half tea spoon black pepper and half tea spoon of black salt in a cup of water to get relief in gas trouble.
Black Pepper for Indigestion
Take half a lemon, remove it’s seeds and fill it with a mixture of black pepper powder and black salt powder. Put it on the pan for a while to heat and then chew it warm. It will give you relief.
Black Pepper for Eye Disorders
Roast wheat flour in butter, mix black pepper powder and sugar and eat 5 teaspoons twice a day. It will give you relief in common eye disorders. To improve eye sight mix black pepper powder and sugar in butter(Deshi Ghee) and eat empty stomach in the morning.
Black Pepper for Gout or Joints Pain
Put the whole black pepper seeds in sesame oil and heat it till the whole black pepper seeds burn. Let the oil cool and then massage the effected area. It will give you relief.
