How to Create a screenshot in an Android device - In older versions of Android, creating a screen shot was not so easy, to take a screenshot of an android device, Android developer tool was necessary, but in newer versions(Android 4.0 or higher), creating a screenshot and viewing it later is very simple. Now you can create a screenshot just by pressing a few buttons. In some more advances versions taking a screenshot has been made more easy. The procedure of taking a screenshot of an android devices is discussed below -

Android Device Screenshot standard procedure
This procedure works in a majority of deices -
- Press and hold the Volume button and power button simultaneously.
- Your screen will start flashing and options like delete, share and edit the image will appear.
- The screenshot will be saved to the gallery.
Screenshot in older Android Devices
If you are using an older versions of Android OS like Android 2.2, 2.3 etc. you will need to download and install an app. To find which version you are using tap Settings and look in About Device.
Device Specific Screenshot procedure in newer Android Devices
- If your Android Device has a home button, use home button instead of volume button.
- In Samsung Galaxy S6, the standard procedure works but you can use the addition option available, the palm swipe. For it you will need to turn on this function. Go to setting, Motion and gestures, palm swipe to capture.
- Sony Xperia Z3+ provides very easy option. Press and hold the power button, you will see here the record screen and take a screen shot option.
- In HTC, LG, Motorola, Nexus, the above mentioned standard procedure works.
